Our History

Michael Zimmerman is the dedicated owner of the Perfection Plus Painting company.  As a High School student,  Michael worked at a local paint store near his home.  Working as a Salesman and at a Paint Manufacturer, his love and knowledge for the trade grew.  After High School, Michael decided to go directly into the Navy, where he was taught the importance of work ethic and leadership skills.

After serving four years in the military, Michael decided to return to his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina and start his own Painting Company.  There, he specialized in mostly Residential and Historic Home Painting.  In 2007, he was contacted to complete a job in Myrtle Beach.  That project turned into more projects.  Michael and his family eventually made the decision to move to Myrtle Beach.  He was joined by his brother in law, and two other employees.

Since making the move to Myrtle Beach, Perfection Plus Painting has become one of the most highly recommended painting companies on The Grand Strand.  Word of mouth has traveled fast about our company’s dedication, professionalism, and expertise in the trade.  As a result of this, the company has continuously grown every year.  We value our customers and it shows.
